Talking on a cellphone while driving a car is dangerous!
( MultiTasking)

"Several research reports, both recently published and not yet published, provide evidence of the limits of multitasking. The findings, according to neuroscientists, psychologists and management professors, suggest that many people would be wise to curb their multitasking behavior when working in an office, listening to most songs with lyrics, studying or driving a car.

These experts have some basic advice. Check e-mail messages once an hour, at most. Listening to soothing background music while studying may improve concentration. But other distractions - most songs with lyrics, instant messaging, television shows - hamper performance. Driving while talking on a cellphone, even with a hands-free headset, is a bad idea. (More)

Aging With Vitality

Today's "baby boomer" generation wants to look good and age gracefully, without suffering from the same debilitating and chronic conditions as their parents. Yes, you can age with vitality! We all age over time, but the rate at which we age is a choice. Good health slows the aging process, causing one to feel and look younger. Poor diets, toxic exposures, stress, and lack of exercise all conspire to "age" a human body beyond its years. That's why aging, as most of us experience it, relates more to disease than chronology. Very simply, a healthy body will maintain healthy, youthful skin.

Skin shows our level of health, affecting how we appear to others. Choices we make, regarding our health equation, directly affect how we look - healthy or otherwise. To be healthy, we must give the body what it needs, and protect it from toxins. Provided that these simple requirements are met, a body will deliver a life filled with youth and vitality. If not, it will fail catastrophically - aging and debilitating along the way. It is clear that diet, exercise, toxins and stress all have profound effects on our health. That's why we all need to educate ourselves on how to choose health. How we manage our health equation can keep us sick and aging, or healthy and beautiful. The choice is yours. (More)

"Even If All, Not I"
(Latin: "El si omnes ego non.")

We are members of a chosen generation and must be different in the world today.
It is an exciting time to be alive, but it is also one that is fraught with danger both physically and spiritually. The adversary is very subtle and deceitful and will entice you in any way possible to get you to "follow the crowd" or succumb to the evil ways of the world.

From all types of media, we are shown and told that chastity before marriage and fidelity afterward is not the norm in dating and marriage today.
However, the Lord tells us: "Be thou an example of the believers...in purity" (1 Tim, 4:12). You are given many examples of how to dress and look. The pressure can be strong to be "in style." However, we are taught by Church leaders that "modesty in dress is a quality of mind and heart, born of respect for oneself, one's fellowmen, and the Creator of us all. Modesty reflects an attitude of humility, decency, and propriety".

We live in a world where success seems largely measured by possessions and professional status. To many the manner of obtaining these often seems to be of no consequence. Qualities such as integrity, charity, honesty, and spirituality often are thought to be of less value than the means of obtaining outward signs of success.

There may be pressure to have the largest house, the best car, expensive clothes, and so forth. However, we are counseled to stay out of debt by purchasing wisely and living within our means. Do not be unduly influenced by those around you to do otherwise. In the world today our voices can be heard as we speak of and stand for our convictions of truth and righteousness.

Let us stand up to worldly influences that would draw you away from your beliefs and say, in mighty voices, "Even if All, Not I"!
